Nx Mobile Beta Testing for Android - Available Now!
The new Beta version of Nx Mobile is now available for testing on Android devices! The Beta is available for download via Google Play and is accessible to any Android user with the Nx Mobile app.
As part of the Beta testing program, users can share private feedback with the Nx Development team. Understanding our customers’ experience with the app helps us to better tailor the app to our customers’ needs and create a better all-around product. Any and all feedback is appreciated – even the most critical, we’ll take it!

The Nx Mobile Beta is compatible with the newest software release, Beta v5.0 – a full-featured release focused on cyber security, enhanced usability of existing features, and more admin capabilities. For full details of what you can expect from v5.0, see the Beta v5.0 release announcement.
How to Join the Beta
You’ll need to have Nx Mobile for Android already installed before joining the beta.
To join:
- Go to the Google Play Store on your phone or tablet.
- Find the Nx Witness Mobile for Android app (simply search for Nx Witness in the search bar) and tap on it to open the app detail page.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page until you see the section titled Become a beta tester.
- Tap the I’M IN button, then tap JOIN.
- Wait 10-15 minutes for the beta sign-up process to complete, then return to the app detail page in the Google Play Store.
- You should see a message saying “You’re a beta tester”.
- At the top of the app detail page, tap the Update button to install the latest beta version (if available).
How to Provide Feedback
We’d love to hear your feedback! Please share your thoughts about new features and report any issues you experience with the beta version. You can do this in a number of ways:
- Via the Google Play Store – Scroll down to the Enter feedback about the app field on the Harvest for Android app detail page
- Via our Support Portal (Community, Nx Mobile section)
Be sure to let us know you’re using the Android beta if you provide feedback via the Support Portal.
How to Leave the Beta
You should only need to leave the beta if you are experiencing issues with a beta version and want to immediately go back to the public version. You can remain a beta tester even if there isn’t a beta version currently available, and you’ll continue to receive all updates that apply to the public version. To leave:
- Go to the Google Play Store on your phone or tablet.
- Find the Nx Witness Mobile for Android app (simply search for Harvest in the search bar) and tap on it to open the app detail page.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page, until you see the section titled You’re a beta tester.
- Tap the LEAVE button.
- Wait 10-15 minutes for the process to complete, then return to the app detail page.
- Uninstall then reinstall the app to return to the public version.
