The Provincial Police of Thailand form the largest component of the Royal Thai Police force and is divided among 10 regions, with Region 5 governing 8 of the 76 provinces of Thailand.
In an effort to bolster their security and safety efforts, Region 5 decided they needed to adopt a new unified system from which they could manage the security of 5 separate landmark locations via one control room location. Region 5 specified that their new system should include interference-proof centralized command, control, and quick search abilities.
Ultimately, management decided to implement a modern VMS (Nx Witness) equipped with video analytics and fast and reliable video streaming.

- If a System Operator needs to investigate what has occurred they simply open Nx Witness VMS and search archived video for a particular motion detection or event. Nx Witness VMS captures and stores metadata which allows operators to search an entire year of archived video in seconds using associated metadata (tags, bookmarks, etc).
