Six months ago, Network Optix proudly announced the acquisition of an amazing Dutch team at Scailable BV. A decision that set the stage for significant growth of both our company, as well as advancements in our software. Especially in edge AI and computer vision. As we mark this milestone, let’s have a peak at what we’ve achieved since then. And more importantly, to what lies ahead.
Reflecting on the Scailable Acquisition
The decision to ask Scailable to join the Nx team was more than just a business decision, it was a strategic move to further accelerate our growth as a Data Platform in the AI and computer vision space. Their expertise in edge AI and machine learning has expanded and enhanced our enterprise video excellence at the edge. For those who missed the announcement in February, you can read more about it here.
Amsterdam Office Grand Opening: A Hub for Innovation
Shortly thereafter in April, we celebrated the grand opening of our new Nx Amsterdam office, another milestone in our ongoing global expansion. Located in one of Europe’s leading tech and industry hubs, our new office and experience center there bolsters our ability to serve and collaborate with our growing customer base across the region.
Nx AI Manager: Elevating Nx EVOS with Advanced AI
Perhaps the most significant development since acquiring Scailable is the introduction of our Nx AI Manager. The latest addition to the Nx Toolkit, Nx AI Manager is a universal AI model pipeline that adds advanced AI functionality to any solution built with the Nx Enterprise Video Operating System (Nx EVOS). With Nx AI Manager, developers can now effortlessly enhance any video application with intelligence by simply uploading an AI model - no extra engineering required.
Advancing Open Standards with OAAX
In addition to new product innovations, we have also strengthened our commitment to open standards and collaborative innovation by sponsoring and joining the OAAX (Open AI Acceleration eXchange) standard. OAAX is a collaborative initiative aiming to create open standards for AI and machine learning. By joining OAAX, Network Optix not only demonstrates our dedication to advancing open AI technology, it also ensures our solutions align with industry best practices, enabling us to deliver even more reliable and scalable solutions for our customers. Looking Ahead
As we celebrate these milestones, we’re also looking forward to the future. The groundwork we’ve laid over the past six months has set the stage for bigger and better developments to come, particularly with the upcoming launch of Gen 6 at the end of Q3 this year. We are beyond grateful to our teams, partners, and customers who have made these successes possible, and while the journey is far from over, we eagerly look forward to continuously pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the fields of enterprise video intelligence. Stay tuned for more updates as we finish the year stronger than we started!
