The Vess A6800 storage appliance, integrated with Nx Witness VMS and Powered by Nx products via the Server API, is specially engineered for IP video surveillance deployment on a medium to large scale. Vess A6800 is ideally suited for surveillance systems in banks, malls, casinos, factories, warehouses, commercial, residential, governmental, or private enterprises. Vess A6800’s subsystems are capable of continuous recording and playback operation without dropping frames.
Promise HTTP Notification Feature
As part of its integration with Promise Storage Management products, Nx Witness can be used to manage camera footage or playback recorded files in the storage hardware. However, it is not able to receive notifications concerning the hardware server condition or faulty components on its own.
To combat this issue, the HTTP notification feature was developed and integrated using the Server API to allow the Promise server and storage hardware to send notifications to Nx Witness in the event of server or hardware failure via the Nx System Admin and Nx Rules Engine.
