AVUTEC is a manufacturer of hardware and developer of software in the field of computer vision and AI. Our integration platform, CortexFramework, features video content analysis modules and technology partner connectors for integration with third party systems for access control, car wash installations, and smart mobility solutions. Avutec specializes in license plate recognition (ANPR / ALPR) and custom recognition modules.

The Gatekeeper is a ANPR/AI camera, better described as an embedded visual sensor system for it has much more functionality than just a camera; it features a complete server on-board. A Gatekeeper is packed with computational power and high-quality sensors to run CortexFramework and its recognition modules. In AVUTEC products’ hardware and software merges in dedicated high-tech AI devices.

Besides providing the ONVIF compliant video stream for recording, a specialized Network Optix connector facilitates bookmarking license plate and recognition events in Nx Witness VMS. A recognition is the trigger for client specific bookmarks depending on the recognition module. Bookmarks can be configured with CortexClient, our Windows based graphical remote management interface with triggers and actions.

AVUTEC products support RTSP and are ONVIF, profile S compatible.
Recognition events are send using the Nx REST API.
