How Vivotek IE9111-O Edge AI Box Works with Nx
Vivotek’s IE9111-O Edge AI Box is integrated with Powered by Nx products via the Nx Server API. IE9111-O pulls video streams from the Nx System to be analyzed in real-time on the edge-based device according to event preferences configured in-app. When an event is detected, IE9111-O sends an alert to Nx Witness, which then bookmarks the corresponding video footage as an Event to be reviewed by system operators.

Vivotek's IE9111-O Edge AI Box utilizes AI video analytic technology at the edge to analyze video streams for applications such as PPE inspection, gun detection, fire smoke detection, and more. Since the analysis is performed on the edge, it prevents the information leak risk on the cloud and reduces bandwidth usage.
IE9111-O is an OSSA-driven AI-Box that runs on the Azena OS. This allows users to install and operate multiple apps from the Azena App Store on IE9111-O for a wider array of intelligent video analytic applications. The pre-installed app “Event Adapter” developed by Vivotek can help users build the connection between the app, the device, and the backend system.
